A walk in pictures : near Le Vaud, Switzerland
Early afternoon, on a sunny Autumn day. Blue skies. Wispy clouds. Fields bare. A wonderful day for a walk.
We see a few riders in the distance, otherwise the world is ours alone.
A close up of Mont Blanc, which looks magnificent. I was informed that the cloud formation over it is called a Lenticular cloud.
The ground is covered with autumn leaves, a glowing red-brown carpet.
We pass the church at Marchissy. The tree has a plaque stating that it is the second largest in Switzerland !! It doesn’t look that big, does it? Perhaps they mean in circumference?
As the sun starts dipping, the mountains take on a special glow.
The walk home, with Mont Blanc looking spectacular in pink !
